The lights are on
The Game Informer Show returns to tackle the last few high profile game releases of the year. First up, host Matt Helgeson is joined by Matthew Kato, who gives his hands-on impression of Polyphony Digital's long-awaiting racing opus, Gran Turismo 5. Was the wait worth it? Listen in to find out. In the second segment, Ben Reeves comes by to discuss his career as an inventor, giving us his thoughts on Namco Bandai's Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom along the way. Finally, Andy Reiner, Phil Kollar, and our new video man Ben Hanson stop by to talk about Donkey Kong Country Returns, the last in what's been a great year for Nintendo first-party Wii titles. This revival not only lives up to the legacy of the classic SNES series; it surpasses it in many ways.
This episode features some tracks off the upcoming album by Tripping Icarus, a band that features Game Informer's very own Andy Reiner on guitar! Check 'em out at their Facebook page.
