I was hoping we'd be treated to Gorilla Radio this week. It's like candy for my brain!

Congrats GI on another very entertaining show. 1 minute I'd be smiling and laughing the next I'd be pondering deep within my psyche. I think I feel another blog post coming on.

What is the difference between the GameInformer show and Gamer Gorilla Radio? I've never listened to the latter yet.

If I were CEO of Microsoft, I would put in an internet browser for the Xbox, and I would allow MMOs to do what they need to do to get on the Xbox. I would also take a page from Sonys book and make XBL free for silver and give some cool stuff to the people who want to stay gold.

That was an awesome podcast. I'm really glad I listened to this one and I'll definitely check out more of these GGR podcasts. (I'll probably come back later and edit in my idea for CEO. Too many possibilites right there.)

I agree with everything you guys said about what should change with all 3 consoles, and I hope something at least somewhat resembling those changes happens.

I'd be CEO of Nintendo and create Wii RPG, where you travel through Nintendo worlds, like Kingdom Hearts.

on the topic of the elder scrolls lore, whenever i play a game i become obsessed with its backstory(right now im looking at fallout 1s story on my ipod) i put alot of time into TES III Morriwind on xbox 1 but never beat it, so while i was playing TES IV Oblivion(120 hours havent beat it either) i was looking at TES III. My god is that complicated!

Fantastic Podcast Guys! I hope that everything you discussed in the last segment really does happen. But if I had to answer that question I would choose:

Sony and as the CEO would explore more new IP's than provide sequels. Sony Santa Monica, Naughty Dog and Sucker Punch have all made excellent games that I would not want to see slowly die out when their fifth sequels comes around the corner. These three developers are Sony's strong players. Sony needs to use them for more new IP's than more of the same. I would be sad to see Nathan Drake, Kratos and Cole Mcgrath fade out of the gaming world. But right now I want to see more new iconic characters and games from Sony's developers that will give me a reason to stay with the system. Sure Cole, Nathan and Kratos are a good team to stay with, but their also competing agianst other icons like Mario, Link, Samus, Master Chief, Marcus Fenix and Commander Shepard. Come on Sony, Build us a dream team that will help sell more units and let each member represent a new IP.

Great show!  I totally agree about allowing for the use of keyboards and mice for MMO games.  Let's not forget about the console RTS space; that space too has been lackluster due to a slew of games that controlled poorly.  There have been some creative solutions, like Halo Wars, but even these lack the perfect fit for RTS gameplay of a mouse and keyboard.

I would be CEO of Nintendo and reopen Spaceworld and let everyone know what each of the teams are doing during that one event, and then save E3 for third party showcasing.

Also, since I'm a nerd like that, I'd get Monolith Soft to reboot Xenosaga and localize Xenosaga I&II for the DS already, and then I'd totally redo the series the way Tetsuya Takahashi and Soraya Saga actually wrote the *** script (not just Chapters 2 and 5!). And then localize everything else they've done since Nintendo bought them.

GGR doesn't do much PR for itself, and that's the way I like it. But that means it depends on you guys to get the word out (shameless self promotion I know)!
