The lights are on
We take a break from our weekly Thursday show format to bring you yet another exclusive special edition podcast, this time centering on Bungie's much-anticipated prequel Halo: Reach. Host Matt Helgeson gathers together the GI staffers that were lucky enough to see the game in action: cover story author Matt Miller, Bryan Vore, and Dan Ryckert. In the first segment, we get the gang's impressions of the game, and get the inside scoop on the game's exciting new features, storyline, characters, and weapons. In the second segment, we open up the reader mailbag and answer Gameinformer.com user queries about the game. The podcast also features some exclusive music from the Halo: Reach soundtrack.

It was okay, but it appealed more to the average gamer than to Halo fans. If you want to know more about Halo, check out Bungie.net and the Halo: Reach forums there for some hot threads with great info. Thanks for the magazine Game Informer! Also, Master Chief was in space during the invasion of Reach; he wasn't on Reach.
