Burnout Revenge Added To Xbox One Backwards Compatibility

by Imran Khan on May 08, 2018 at 04:44 PM

Burnout Revenge, considered by some to be the pinnacle of the Burnout franchise, is now backwards compatible on the Xbox One.

While this title is on the original Xbox and the Xbox 360, this backwards compatible version is the Xbox 360 version, which had ten more crash junctions on the Crash tour, Revenge Rivals online, and the ability to save and share 30 second clips of your crashes, though that last part matters less when playing on an Xbox One.

Burnout Revenge was also one of the only games to take advantage of a short-lived Microsoft initiative where players could take their Xbox 360 memory units to retail kiosks and download special content to take home. It is not clear how, if at all, that special content will be usable on a backwards compatible version.

As with all Xbox One BC titles, you can slip in the original disc for authorization or buy a digital copy on the Xbox Live store.
