New Game From FTL Developers, Into The Breach, Coming February 27
Subset Games, the developers behind famously successful spaceship simulator FTL: Faster Than Light, has announced the release date for their new game, Into the Breach. The game will release on PC on February 27, slightly over a year after the game's original announcement.
The tactical RPG has been heavily anticipated after FTL's strong success and takes influence from XCOM. The game is set in the far future where giant monsters have invaded Earth and the only way to stop them is with mechs offering high degrees of modability. Throw in some time travel and you have a recipe for an interesting new take on the genre.
The game has also been announced for Linux, but it isn't clear if that version is releasing alongside the Windows one.
