Techland Celebrates Dying Light's Third Year With New Content

by Joey Thurmond on Feb 05, 2018 at 12:05 PM

Techland has been building on Dying Light's solid foundation for quite some time now. A steady stream of new enemies, weapons, events, and more have been creeping into Harran for the past year. More is on the way in the aftermath of the title's third anniversary.

Throughout this month, the developer will be unveiling a third content drop based on community feedback, an event called "Undying Love" (with a fitting vehicle skin as seen above), weekly giveaways on Techland's online platform Gemly, and "much more." The PC version of the game has also been discounted 66-percent for the occasion on Gemly.

Our Take
Dying Light's story and voice acting may be rough, but its immensely packed world and satisfying combat have understandably kept the game going for this long. I've been impressed by how much Techland has supported and expanded the game over time. The previous content drop update added in silencers for pistols, which is a godsend for taking out enemies without alerting hordes, so I'm intrigued to see what's going to be brought in with the next update.
