Gran Turismo Sport Gets Fueled Up With Free Content

by Joey Thurmond on Jan 25, 2018 at 01:09 PM

Polyphony Digital's president Kazunori Yamauchi shared that the latest update for Gran Turismo Sport will be coming to the PlayStation 4 on January 26 with patch 1.18.

Eight new cars will be added to the game's roster with the likes of the Dodge Viper GTS, Ferrari 330 P4, and Lamborghini Diablo GT. One track, the Monza Circuit (or Autodromo Nazionale Monza), is also coming with eight different layouts. It's the world's third oldest track and resides near Milan, Italy. Since the location has such a storied history in racing as the host of the Formula One Italian Grand Prix since 1950, it's more than fitting that it make its digital debut. Additional GT League Events are on the way as well to challenge players.

There will apparently be "other various features, improvements and fixes," but as to what they are has not been disclosed yet. More updates with similar content are in the works for the future.
