More Bloodborne Cut Content Shown In Video

by Imran Khan on Jan 15, 2018 at 08:29 PM

Bloodborne's cut content is a treasure trove of interesting material. While a model viewer got us close to a lot of these NPCs and enemies, Youtuber Lance McDonald has actually placed a lot of the content in-world and is able to fight or otherwise interact with the missing models.

The video shows off cut content that may have been removed for time reasons or changes in the story. Interestingly, a few of the things shown off in this video appear to be from the Bloodborne DLC, or things brought up in the DLC were planned for the main game. There's also a nearly complete King of Skeletons and a previously seen Lesser Demon, suggesting either the game was used as a testbed for Dark Souls 3 development or that the game may have taken a hard left turn lore-wise at some point.

You can catch the video below. What do you think about the cut content? Does it have any interesting implications for you about where Bloodborne might have gone?

Our Take
The Slug Princess is fascinating, because of how much she resembled the Kos worshipers but is still clearly a little different and designed. I wonder if at some point she was meant to be more of a Gwynevere kind of NPC, where killing her changed up the locale and made the worshipers attack you. I also think the living doll is really interesting because of how it relates to Gehrman's doll.
