Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition Hacking And Slashing Its Way To The Switch

by Imran Khan on Jan 11, 2018 at 08:05 AM

Nintendo has revealed that a version of Hyrule Warriors containing all the characters and stages from both the Wii U and 3DS versions of the game will be coming to the Switch.

The Zelda-flavored Dynasty Warriors game was surprisingly popular when it came out on the Wii U in 2014, prompting a 3DS port with some more characters and levels. The Switch version brings together both versions and adds outfits from Breath of the Wild for both Link and Zelda. The game now boasts 29 playable characters, which is sixteen more characters than the game launched with on Wii U.

The Switch port will also have local co-op, which can be done with the joycons.

Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition will be releasing on the Switch in Spring.
