Pokémon Go Dropping Support For Older Apple iOS Devices
Pokémon Go developer Niantic has announced an update at the end of February which phases out support for Apple devices unable to upgrade to the phone's iOS 11 operating system.
This affects iPhones/Pads from 2013 and older, and you can check if you're in the clear at this support page.
The company says the change "is a result of improvements to Pokémon Go that push the application beyond the capabilities of the operating systems on such devices." Recently the game added AR+ functionality for iOS 11 devices.
