PUBG On Xbox Gets Performance Patch

by Matt Miller on Jan 08, 2018 at 11:56 AM

Bluehole has released patch notes for its latest version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on Xbox Game Preview, with some small changes aimed at improving the play experience for Xbox players.

In-game, players can expect new options to adjust aim acceleration in-game, and player weapon damage has moved up when combating vehicles, among other minor adjustments. Server and client-side FPS has also been slightly increased, which should be welcome news to players frustrated by stutter. Perhaps most importantly, the new patch attempts to address some of the crashes that are ending matches prematurely for some players.

Check out the full patch notes from Bluehole.

Our Take
The PUBG phenomenon recently found a new home on Microsoft’s home console, but many players have been frustrated by technical issues on the new platform. It’s good to see the developer making moves to improve the experience.
