Mad Catz Returns
Peripheral maker Mad Catz is back under new management reports gamesindustry.biz. A Chinese group that previously worked with the company on the manufacturing side has acquired the company name and its accessories.
No details on the deal have been reported yet, but Mad Catz products will be at the CES trade show next week.
"Through listening to gamers worldwide," said Selena Chang, director of sales and operations, "we plan to once again forge a path of innovation in the gaming hardware community, and we're already working on delivering products which we believe will enhance gamers' abilities and do justice to the Mad Catz name. We can't wait to unveil a little more at CES 2018 and in the months to come."

I'm not familiar with Mad Catz' product lines, but it'll be interesting to see going forward if the new management takes the company in new directions, something which bit the previous incarnation hard.
