Nintendo's newest console has seen a good library of games its first year, but the video streaming options have been nonexistent to this point. That changes today, as Hulu is coming to the Switch eShop.

The subscription service Hulu is known for delivering quick access (next-day in many cases) to television shows after they air. It also plays host to several movies, as well as exclusive shows like The Path and The Handmaid's Tale.

The streaming app will join the Switch eShop today when the digital storefront updates.

Our Take
It's great to see this popping up on the eShop. I love watching shows and movies on my iPad around the house, so the Switch is a natural fit due to its portable nature. I'd love to see more streaming apps, so hopefully this begins the avalanche of things like Netflix and HBO Go.
