Fire Emblem Warriors Update Containing New Costumes And More November 16

by Imran Khan on Nov 08, 2017 at 01:39 PM

Nintendo announced today that Fire Emblem Warriors, the Warriors game bringing together heroes from several recent Fire Emblem games, will be receiving a patch that contains a new History mode map, new costumes for the original characters, a new weapon attribute, and some quality of life improvements.

The new History mode map allows Rowan and Lianna, the two main characters that drive the story of Fire Emblem Warriors, to get in arena fights with the other characters from the Fire Emblem proper. Rowan and Lianna are also getting new Lord costumes made of gold.

A new weapon attribute called Armor Break now inflicts, well, armor break status on characters. It is unknown if this affects every single playable character, but it causes characters affected by it to lose their armor.  Additionally, players can now sell off weapons in multiples rather than one at a time.

The update will be released for free on November 16, a few weeks ahead of the game's first DLC pack. You can find our review of Fire Emblem Warriors right here.

Our Take
Hopefully Koei Tecmo and Nintendo keep adding content and the game reaches the content levels of Hyrule Warriors.
