Disney Infinity-Inspired Figures Appear, Inspiring Confusion
ShopDisney has been teasing figures for a few days that bore a striking resemblance to Disney Infinity's figures, but have now been revealed to be figures that just match the look.
The shown figures, which shown Rey and Kylo Ren from Star Wars, are visually very similar to the Disney Infinity figures but are larger and have points of articulation. The visual similarity was very confusing initially, as Disney had publicly ended the Infinity initiative and cancelled plans for future games. New figures would have flown in the face of that.
The ToyBox Action figures will be sold exclusively at Disney's online and physical stores starting November 3.
