Hello Neighbor Gets Halloween Trailer

by George Ash on Oct 25, 2017 at 12:07 PM

Hello Neighbor, the game about sneaking into your creepy neighbor’s basement, has a new Halloween trailer ahead of its December 8 release date.

Publisher tinyBuild Games says the gameplay shown in the trailer is from a release candidate build, which means while they’ve still got a few things to patch up, so the pissed off neighbor you’re seeing now is what you’ll be getting in December.

If you want to try to outsmart your neighbor now, you can download an old alpha build of the game for free. The full game releases on Windows, Mac, and Xbox One December 8.

Our Take
While the clips in the Halloween trailer are all super short cuts of gameplay, the trailer did a good job of showing an assortment of different situations and locations throughout the game. The variety of weird things going on in the trailer, particularly the crazy roller coaster track and the giant neighbor staring through a window, makes me excited for just how strange this game will be.
