Man Jumps White House Barrier Dressed As Pikachu

by George Ash on Oct 19, 2017 at 01:16 PM

A man dressed as Pikachu jumped a barrier on the south side of the White House Tuesday, but was quickly apprehended. Curtis Combs donned the outfit in the hopes of posting a video of his antics and becoming famous.

He clearly didn’t research Pokémon type matchups beforehand, or he would’ve realized the Secret Service is super effective against electric types.

Combs didn’t even get far enough to finish his recording before being apprehended. He says he knew he would be arrested, and has entered plea of not guilty to the unlawful entry he’s been charged with.

In September of 2014 a different man jumped the White House fence with a Pikachu hat on his head and a plush doll of the character in his hands. It’s uncertain if the 2014 incident inspired Combs.
