Fire Emblem Warriors Launch Trailer Reveals Free Japanese Voice Tracks, DLC Details

by Keenan McCall on Oct 17, 2017 at 11:33 AM

To mark the launch of the game, Nintendo offers a feature many fans have been clamoring for as well as info on the game's DLC packages.

Released earlier this morning, the launch trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors came with a surprise at the end. Available the same day as the games release, the game's Japanese dub tracks are downloadable free of charge to customers in North America.

The trailer also details other upcoming features like the game's three planned DLC releases, each tied to a different game from the series including Fates, Shadow Dragon, and Awakening. Each offers three new playable characters, three new history scenarios, new weapons and costumes, and new support conversations. The packs can be bought together through a season pass for $19.99 or separately for $7.99.

Fire Emblem Warriors hits store shelves October 20 for the Nintendo Switch and New Nintendo 3DS.

Our Take
It's nice of Nintendo to offer the Japanese voice tracks free of charge, and the fact that they're available the same day as launch makes it even better. In terms of the DLC, it'll be interesting to see how whether they can mix up the gameplay with the proposed scenarios and additions.
