New Digital Comic Sets The Stage For Sonic Forces
Sonic Forces, the next Sonic Team-developed game, tells a story of the titular blue hedgehog and his team fighting back from a world already dominated by Dr. Eggman. Now, a new four-part digital comic is serving as a prequel to the game, setting up the world and letting us know what the characters are up to in the meantime.
The comic is written by Ian Flynn, best known for his work on the Archie Comics Sonic the Hedgehog series, and illustrated by Adam Bryce Thomas, another veteran from the Archie Comics series. The premiere issue, which is available now, focuses on three of the Chaotix and an unknown hero as they hold off an Eggman attack.

Our Take
As someone who enjoyed Archie Comics' Sonic the Hedgehog run, and is looking forward to the upcoming IDW series (also penned by Ian Flynn), I'll definitely check these out while I wait for Sonic Forces.
