[Update] Switch Version Of Attack On Titan 2 Confirmed For U.S.

by Suriel Vazquez on Sep 25, 2017 at 09:06 AM

Update: Koei Tecmo has confirmed that Attack on Titan 2 is indeed coming to the Switch system in the U.S. The company hasn't provided a firm release date for the game in general, but says it will do so "in the coming weeks."

Original Story:

The sequel to the first Warriors-style Attack on Titan game was first announced back in August, bringing with it another round of high-flying giant murder next year. When it comes time to slash these monster in the back of their next, we may end up being able to do it on the go.

Speaking at this week's Tokyo Game Show, Koei Tecmo announced a Switch version of its licensed action game. Previously, the game was announced for PlayStation 4, Vita, and PC (via Steam). The company has not officially announced the Switch version for the US just yet, but considering it's already coming stateside, that seems likely.

Our Take
Switch ports of PS4 games keep coming at a rate that makes me think Switch could end up being a more viable third-party platform than we thought. I hope these kinds of announcements keep coming.
