This weekend, we see a couple of fresh starts. It's Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite's debut week on the tournament scene, as well as the first official week of League of Legends' biggest tournament. We also have several other tournaments this weekend for your entertainment.

The League of Legends World Championship has begun, pitting the game's best teams and players against each other from now until November 4. Matches are currently taking place in the middle of the night for American audiences, but you can catch the replays on the Lolesports website. (Stream / Schedule)

The big Southern California Regionals bring us the first major Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite tournament, so if you're playing and are curious about what the game looks like at a high level, this is your best bet. Of course, there will also be tournaments for various other games, such as Street Fighter V, Injustice 2, Tekken 7, and more. (Stream 1 / Stream 2 / Stream 3 / Schedule)

Infinite will also be present at CEOtaku, the anime-oriented fighting game tournament which will also have Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2, Blazblue Central Fiction, Gundam Versus, Catherine, and more. (Streams / Schedule)

And if you're looking for a Super Smash Bros. tournament, Syndicate will feature both Melee and For Wii U, with some top European talent along for the ride. (Stream / Schedule)

The Overwatch Contenders tournament rages on and is literally putting teams in their place. That's its job! (Stream and Schedule)
