Get Your First Look At Skylanders Academy's Second-Season Trailer
Last year, Netflix and Activision Blizzard Studios released the first season of the animated series Skylanders Academy. The show featured an all-star voice cast, and a host of familiar faces from Activision's popular toys-to-life franchise. The game may be taking a year off, but fans of Spyro, Stealth Elf, Eruptor and others won't have to wait long for more of their favorite characters. The show's second season starts in early October, and you can see what's ahead in the first trailer.
In season two, Spyro embarks on a journey of self-discovery, learning more about his own origins and how he can control his special abilities. Kaos accidentally sets loose a powerful villain, which may lead to a fragile alliance between the heroes of the Skylands and their usual adversary.
This season, actress Felicia Day joins the cast, playing Cynder. She's part of a cast that includes Justin Long, Jonathan Banks, Ashley Tisdale, Bobcat Goldthwait, Norm MacDonald, Parker Posey, and Susan Sarandon – among others.
