See What Legacy Tables Will (And Won't) Carry Over To Pinball FX 3 For Free

by Jeff Cork on Aug 17, 2017 at 11:38 AM

Zen Studios allowed players to bring purchased tables across multiple versions of its Pinball FX/Zen Pinball series, and that tradition isn't ending with the release of Pinball FX3. The game still doesn't have a firm release date at this point, but Zen Studios is revealing what tables will make the transition to the new game for free. The good news? It's almost all of them.

Players will be able to import the following tables and packs at no additional charge, provided they've already purchased them in previous versions of the game.

  • Core Collection Pack – Rome, Pasha, Biolab, Secrets of the Deep
  • Iron & Steel Pack – Wild West Rampage, CastleStorm
  • Medieval Pack – Epic Quest, Excalibur,
  • Sci-Fi Pack – Mars, Earth Defense, Paranormal

Because of shifting licenses, a few won't be coming. They are:
  • South Park Pinball 2 Table Pack
  • Street Fighter Pinball
  • Ninja Gaiden Pinball
  • Plants vs. Zombies Pinball
  • Ms. Splosion Man Pinball

Zen Studios says it's spent "a tremendous amount of time" updating the lighting, graphics, modes, and features for each table so they look and play as good as possible in Pinball FX3. While PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players won't be able to challenge their friends on shared leaderboards, matchups, and tournaments, both console versions will feature cross-platform play with Steam, and, in the case of the Xbox One version, Windows 10.
