Being a gamer in the 1990s was strange. The public face of gaming, depending on who you ask, was either voyeuristic murder simulators or mascot platformers. Things haven't changed a ton.

But there was also Bubble Tape! And Socker Boppers! And Yak Baks, because you can fake your parents coming home early for reasons that don't make a lot of sense! IFHT Films is exposing all the quirks of being a 90s gamer in their short film, everything from LAN parties to making dark playground deals for use of someone's GameShark.
