Bethesda Outlines Wolfenstein II's Season Pass, Pre-Order Bonus

by Jeff Cork on Jul 27, 2017 at 09:46 AM

It's been a big day for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus news, with a ton of new info coming out after a recent hands-on event. In addition, Bethesda has provided the first details on the game's inevitable season pass, which includes three additional missions that show how the resistance is tackling the Nazis throughout the former United States.

Players will be able to explore more of the game's world through these missions, The Freedom Chronicles. Each one features a different character and setting, which shows how the battle looks through the eyes of someone other than main protagonist BJ Blazkowicz. Here's the breakdown of each mission and character, in Bethesda's words:

The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe – As former professional quarterback Joseph Stallion, smash through Nazi hordes from the ruins of Chicago to the vastness of space!

The Diaries of Agent Silent Death – As ex-OSS agent and assassin Jessica Valiant, infiltrate Nazi bunkers in California and discover the secrets of Operation San Andreas!

The Amazing Deeds of Captain Wilkins – As the US Army’s renowned hero Captain Gerald Wilkins, embark on a mission to Nazi-controlled Alaska to dismantle Operation Black Sun!

These missions will be available in the game's season pass, which is priced at $24.99.

Bethesda is making it a little easier to get to know these characters, with a bonus prequel episode. Players who preorder the game (or buy the season pass) will get access to The Freedom Chronicles: Episode Zero, which Bethesda says will let you "Blast your way through Nazis using unique abilities and an arsenal of guns in this opening DLC mission."

Additional details, including when these missions will be released, will be announced at a later day. Meanwhile, if you're looking for more Wolfenstein II info, you've come to the right place.
