UPDATE: Actor Says Résumé Listing GTA 6 Is Fake

by Kimberley Wallace on Jul 27, 2017 at 11:51 AM

UPDATE: Site PCGamesN got a hold of Neff, who adamantly denied being involved in the production of GTA 6. "That isn't my page, account or resume. I don't even know that website," he said. "I worked on GTA 5 a long time ago and haven't done anything since."

ORIGINAL STORY:

It's probably safe to assume that at any given time, there's a team hard at work on a new game from Rockstar Games' premier franchise, Grand Theft Auto. Today, we have potential evidence that is the case by way of an actor's resume, which lists for motion capture on Grand Theft Auto 6.

As a user on NeoGAF discovered, actor Tim Neff lists Grand Theft Auto 6 and Red Dead Redemption 2 under the motion capture portion of his résumé (you can see the screen grab below). While hearing that work is being completed on Grand Theft Auto 6 wouldn't be a surprise, it's still cool to know that the project could already be in the works. Neff's Instagram also presented a photo from Rockstar San Diego, which has now been deleted, to further confirm he's been spending time at the studio on upcoming Rockstar projects.

Our Take
While it's expected that Rockstar will continue its juggernaut GTA franchise, it's still exciting to imagine the possibilities for the next entry. However, it's important to keep your expectations in check and remember that a release window is probably several years away.
