by Matthew Kato on Jul 26, 2017 at 10:10 AM

This morning Nintendo released its financials for the three-month period ending in June 30, with the company announcing that 4.7 million Switch units have been sold worldwide, amongst other achievements.

The company also broke down its software to date worldwide, with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at 3.92 million units, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe close behind at 3.54 million, 1-2-Switch at 1.22 million, and Arms at 1.18 million (the game came out in mid-June). In total, all Switch software sold tallies up to 13.6 million units for the system.

These successes, along with sales of other hardware, software, and mobile income means that Nintendo is on track to meet its forecast for the fiscal year.

Our Take
Arms has sold an impressive amount of units early in its lifetime, so it'll be interesting to see if it keeps up the pace through the rest of the year.
