PSA: Destiny 2 Beta Preload Is Live
The sequel to Bungie's shared world shooter is, like its predecessor, getting a beta. Those who preordered the game or received a beta code can start preloading the beta now. PS4 players will need 15 GB of free space on their hard drive while Xbox One players will need 12.8 GB.
The beta goes live next week, with PS4 players getting access on July 18 while Xbox One players get access a day later. The beta will open up for everyone, not just those who preordered, on July 21. If you get the beta pre-loaded, you can't actually play anything until those dates arrive, but if you're a dedicated fan, you can turn on the title screen and listen to the new theme music.
