What Remains Of Edith Finch Coming To Xbox One Next Week

by Joe Juba on Jul 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM

Xbox One owners will soon have the chance to experience a unique and compelling journey that was previously reserved for PS4 and PC gamers. Publisher Annapurna Interactive has announced that What Remains of Edith Finch is coming to Microsoft's console on July 19.

If you haven't played the game yet, you don't want us spoiling anything for you. However, we can say that What Remains of Edith Finch is the latest title from developer Giant Sparrow, the studio behind The Unfinished Swan. If you enjoyed that game – or other titles in this emerging genre like Gone Home and Firewatch – then you will probably be interested in this one, which is structured as a series of clever short stories about a cursed family.

If you want to know more about what to expect from this imaginative game, you can watch us play the first 25 minutes

Our Take
What Remains of Edith Finch is one of my favorite games this year (read my review), so the fact that more players have the opportunity to enjoy it can only be a good thing. Seriously, this one is a must-play for any fan of narrative-focused experiences.
