Rumor: Details For Visceral's Star Wars Game May Have Leaked

by Javy Gwaltney on Jun 21, 2017 at 02:32 PM

A Star Wars fan site called MakingStarWars.net has allegedly discovered details about the upcoming Star Wars game being developed by Visceral Games, which is being headed-up by creative director Amy Henning. Obviously these details should be taken with a grain of salt and if you don't want to know any possible spoilers for what Visceral Games has in the works, you'd best turn back now.

MakingStarWars.net's Editor-in-chief, Jason Ward, says that the game is currently referred to as Project Ragtag and focuses on a character named Dodger set between the events of A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back. According to Ward, Dodger was forced into the criminal underground to avoid being drafted into the Imperial Army and finds himself in the employ of Jabba The Hutt.

You can read all of the details over at the original post here.

Our Take
In cases like this, it's really hard to gauge if these rumors are accurate. And even if they are, games have a habit of changing constantly in development so these details could be modified in any number of ways before the game is eventually released. So take this all with several grains of salt.
