New Game Of Thrones Trailer Teases Team-Up For Season 7
HBO has released a new trailer for the upcoming seven-episode season of Game of Thrones.
The trailer gives fans a good look at the direction the TV show is headed in (warning, general spoilers for Game of Thrones ahead).
As many fans have speculated, it looks like the major armies are teaming up to take down the impending White Walker threat. It sounds like Jon Snow is the one extending the olive branch, hot off his victory at the Battle of the Bastards. This alliance gives credence to the fan theory surrounding the Three-Headed Dragon prophecy, which predicts Jon Snow, Daenerys, and Tyrion to take the Iron Throne together.
This would also be consistent with last season, which confirmed several other fan theories, such as the true parentage of Jon Snow, and the fate of The Hound. Season six gave fans of the television series what they wanted to see, so it'll be interesting to find out if the upcoming books follow suit or stay more cynical and unpredictable.
Season seven of Game of Thrones premieres July 16.
