Watch The Reveal Trailer For Metro Exodus
Developer 4A Games is the studio behind the Metro series, and the latest installment was unveiled during Microsoft's E3 event.
The trailer (which you can see below) highlights the franchise's signature bleakness, with a blasted landscape and dark tunnels crawling with irradiated threats.
We see a variety of interesting tidbits, including a crossbow, a boss fight against an enormous monster, and a handheld map hinting at a bigger world. Watch the trailer for yourself to see what other details you can pick out.
The video is running in-engine (though it may not be actual gameplay), and looks impressive. A vague release date of 2018 was announced, but we'll have to wait for more details.
