See Star Wars Battlefront II's Assault On Theed Action Via Livestream

by Matthew Kato on Jun 02, 2017 at 02:26 PM

Star Wars fans are eager to see how EA and developer DICE build off of 2015's Star Wars Battlefront, and on June 10th (at 12:30 pm Pacific) they'll get to see a 40-player Assault on Theed battle transpire over a special livestream.

The battle pits Republic clone troopers against Separatist battle droids as the clones try and stop a troop transport as it approaches the palace.

While this location is based around the prequel-era location of Naboo, cross-era heroes are featured such as Rey from The Force Awakens.

Click here to find out more about the livestream (it doesn't look like there's an actual link to the livestream just yet, but here's EA's Twitch page for the game), as well as how you can win a spot in the battle at EA Play.

Our Take
Curious to see what kind of other 40-player modes the sequel contains, as the livestream's battle sounds a lot like the Walker Assault mode from the 2015 title.
