What To Watch This Weekend: Hearthstone, League of Legends, and Gwent

Big tournaments! Invitationals! Qualifiers! Danger Rooms! Championships! Summits! Everything you could want in competitive gaming and more! This weekend, on esports!

The League of Legends Mid-Season Invitational continues this week, as the group stage closes out before the top four teams proceed to the knockout stage. (Stream / Schedule)

We have two notable Hearthstone tournaments this week: The Europe Vs. China invitational, (Stream), as well as the qualifiers for the third season of the Starladder i-League. (Stream)

Dota 2 has another double-whammy of tournaments this weekend: The Dream League tournament's seventh season (Stream / Schedule) and the qualifiers the next round of the Summit, a tournament with a more casual atmosphere. (Stream)

Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. For Wii U are both at Royal Flush this weekend, with a total of $10,000 up for grabs across both games. (Stream / Schedule)

Before Marvel Vs. Capcom: Infinite releases in September, the Curleh Circuit hopes to send its predecessor, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, off in style. After a series of qualifying tournaments, the Danger Room will see the game's best players face off in an extended tournament format to determine whose mustache is the curliest.
