Weekend Warrior – Nier-ly To The End Of The Week

by Ben Reeves on May 12, 2017 at 07:00 PM

It's almost Mother's Day, which means that it time to take a break from video games and show your mom that you care by taking her to Applebee's. What do you have planned for the weekend? Share your plans in the comments below.

Kyle Hilliard (@KyleMHilliard) - I'm hoping to start Nier: Automata, after finishing off Horizon Zero Dawn last weekend. A fancy dinner is in order, too, for Mother's Day. Maybe some mowing. It's all very exciting.

Brian Shea (@BrianPShea) – This weekend, I’ll be continuing Persona 5 and Pokémon SoulSilver (finally in the post-game content for SoulSilver, so hopefully I’ll be putting a bow on it soon). I’ll obviously be putting in a few hours of Overwatch as well.

Ben Hanson (@yozetty) – This weekend I hope to find more time to continue playing Nier: Automata. Other than that, I hope to play more PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. It just might be the best game. Have a good weekend!

Suriel Vazquez (@SurielVazquez) – It’s a good time be a fighting game fan, but a terrible time to not have the proper controller to play them on. Last week I needed to update the firmware on my Hitbox in order to fix an issue that disconnected it from my PS4 every eight minutes, but the firmware itself borked the Hitbox entirely, which means I’ll have to brush up on my controller fighting game skills if I want to play Ed in Street Fighter V this weekend, and Injustice 2, Guilty Gear Xrd REV 2, Ultra Street Fighter II, and Tekken 7 in the coming weeks. At least Ed doesn’t use special motions!
