What To Watch This Weekend: Super Smash Bros., Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare, And The Demoscene

Playoffs, Pro Tours, and live programming and art round out an absolutely packed weekend of competitive gaming. If you're into a big competitive scene, there's a big event for it this weekend. Let's dive in.

The Revision demoscene event turns creativity into a competition by having skilled programmers create digital art on the spot. If that sounds up your alley, it's worth checking out. (Stream / Schedule)

The League Of Legends LCS Playoffs head into Semifinals this week, and we're going to see giants fall as the team count continues to dwindle. (NA Stream / EU Stream / Schedules)

The Street Fighter V Capcom Pro Tour continues at full steam this week, with two premier events. First, there's the Northern California Regionals, which, in addition to SFV, will have a number of other fighting games, Including The King Of Fighters XIV, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's Esports Championship Series kicked off yesterday and will continue through June. Whoever comes out on top in both North America and Europe will move on the Season 3 finals, where first place will walk away with $250,000. (Stream / Schedule). Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's CWL event takes place in Birmingham, England this weekend, and will feature all the wall-running, robot-transforming, and ball-throwing action the game's become known for in recent years. (Stream)
