Reader Discussion: What Has Been Your Biggest Video Game Time Sink?
Some games take a lot of time to complete. Other games can be theoretically played forever. Which games have you spent the most time with over the years?
I've spent more than 50 hours with The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild over the last few weeks, and I don't feel like I'm going to slow down anytime soon. This got me thinking about games that I've spent a lot of time with over the years. I know that I spend over 80 hours with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt a couple years ago, but that doesn't really compare to the time I put into The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, which was well over 200 hours. That's probably the most time that I've spent with a single game, but I have friends who have spent ten times that amount of time playing games like DOTA 2.
