The lights are on
Capcom and Microsoft have announced a release date for the upcoming Dead Rising 4 story DLC, Frank Rising. Frank West's story continues in early April, with the longtime hero experiencing a significant physical transformation that will have far-reaching implications.
The new single-player story mission starts with an infected Frank wandering the streets of Willamette. After being found and rescued by someone from his past, Frank works to uncover a permanent cure to the virus. Players will have access to new abilities, but it's balanced somewhat by his inability to consume regular food. Instead, he'll have to chomp on human flesh to restore his health. The download is coming to Xbox One and PC on April 4 for $9.99 or as part of the game's season pass.
In addition to that, Frank is going to be able to get his minigolf fix in Super Ultra Dead Rising 4 Mini Golf, which features commentary, unlockable gear, and support for up to four players. It's coming sometime "soon" for Xbox One and PC, according to Microsoft, and it will be available as a $9.99 standalone or as part of Dead Rising 4's season pass.
