Fly To Hyrule Castle On This Airship In Breath Of The Wild

by Manon Hume on Mar 17, 2017 at 10:01 AM

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is one of our favorite games this year, in large part due to the freedom it gives players to explore and experiment with new mechanics. For example, using a fire sword keeps you warm in cold climates, octoroks will eat rusted weapons and spit out rust-free versions, and attaching octorok balloons to a raft will result in a first-class ticket to Calamity Ganon.

YouTube user BeardBear posted the video below showing how to reach Ganon via airship. Using a raft, the paraglider, and about 60 octorok balloons, Link was able to bypass the majority of the obstacles along the path to Hyrule Castle's inner sanctum. Granted, BeardBear's plan went a little sideways toward the end, but it's still an entertaining and creative approach to travel to the final boss in style.

Check out our review of Breath of the Wild, Nintendo's documentary series for the game, and recently released early concept art as well. You can also find all our previous coverage in the Breath of the Wild hub by clicking on the banner below.
