Evo Japan Dates And Location Announced
First announced last year, the second Evolution championship series, Evo Japan, has officially announced the tournament's date and location. Taking place in Tokyo's Akihabara UDX, a fifteen-floor multi-purpose building in the Akihabara suburb, the event will run from January 26-28 in 2018. The game line-up has not yet been announced.
The tournament organizers have also collaborated with eSports production group Topanga and fellow fighting game tournament Godsgarden to introduce a new tournament that will lead in to EVO Japan. Called Sai, the event will also take place in Akihabara UDX on May 20-21, 2017. Sai will be free and open to anyone who wishes to enter. The current game line-up includes Guilty Gear Xrd Rev 2 and Tekken 7: Fated Retribution, with plans to announce a third game in the future.
