by Suriel Vazquez on Mar 11, 2017 at 04:40 AM

Lots of qualifiers and splits are going on this weekend, but we also have a number of marquee events for the year. Final Round is the biggest fighting game tournament of the year thus far, and with the number of games being covered, it's definitely something to have on your radar. We also have PAX East, which is sure to bring a ton of fun panels with it, as well as a few tournaments.

As previously mentioned, Pax East is going on this weekend, and there are a five streams to keep an eye on. Along with the regular panels and roundtables, the PAXArena stream will have tournaments for a number of games, including Hearthstone, Brawlhalla, Rocket League, Super Smash Bros. For Wii U.  (Streams / Schedule)

Final Round is one of the longest-running fighting game tournaments in the world, and as part of the Capcom Pro Tour, you can bet the world's best Street Fighter V players will be there. But the tournament will also host major events for Super Smash Bros. For Wii U, Guilty Gear: Xrd Revelator, Tekken 7, For Honor, and more. (Streams / Schedule)

While we wait for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive' ECS tournament, we can watch the Starladder StarSeries Season 3 Qualifiers, which will determine which teams will make it to the main event in on April 7. (Stream / Schedule)

In other major qualifers, Dota 2 is having its open qualifiers for its upcoming Kiev major. If you think it's a little confusing to have two major lead-ups (this and the Dota Asia Championships) happening at the same time, you're right. Enjoy the freewheeling Dota action! (Stream / Schedule)

And of course, we have the ongoing League of Legends Spring Split, which will seemingly go on until the end of time (also known as March 19). (Europe Stream / Europe Schedule / North America Stream / North America Schedule)

Smite is having its Challenger Circuit Relegations tournament, which pits amateur teams against each other for the chance to make their name known in the world of competitive Smite. (Stream / Schedule

That's it for this weekend! Let us know if you missed any events you'd like to see covered, and have a great weekend!
