Jason Momoa Cast As Lead In Just Cause Film
Variety is reporting that Jason Momoa will be playing Rico Rodriguez in an upcoming film based on the Just Cause video game franchise. Momoa is known predominantly for playing Khal Drogo on Game of Thrones, but will soon be known for playing Aquaman in the upcoming Justice League movie, as well as a planned standalone Aquaman movie.
Additional known details about this Just Cause movie include its director – Brad Peyton, San Andreas (the movie, not the Grand Theft Auto game) – and its writer – John Collee, Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World.

I suppose there might be some opportunity for some impressive action and stuntwork in a Just Cause movie, but from a story perspective there really isn't much to go on. I can't say this is an adaptation I am eager to see.
