The lights are on
With its first ever "expansion" The Elder Scrolls Online is adding an enormous amount of content to the MMORPG on Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Mac on June 6 with Morrowind.
New players can start fresh right on the shores of Vvardenfell with no need to touch the current game's content, and the game will be offered at several different price points for different versions and upgrades.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Morrowind takes place 700 years prior to the events in The Elder Scrolls III, so players can expect to see many recognizable faces and places. While some locations may be different (that town may still be a fledgling settlement, etc) Vvardenfell has been meticulously replicated for its new life in The Elder Scrolls Online.
Morrowind adds the game's first new class, the Warden, which wields nature-based magic and the ability to summon a towering bear companion. PVP will also be getting some significant new options with 4v4v4 arena-style battlegrounds, where players can participate in more structured combat than the giant world war in Cyrodiil currently available.
Players who already own The Elder Scrolls Online can upgrade for $39.99, while new players can get the entire game (includes Tamriel Unlimited and Morrowind) for $59.99.
Collectors editions will also be available in both physical and digital forms. The physical edition is $99.99 and comes with a Colossus statue, map, game case, journal, and a smattering of digital rewards that are also in the digital collector's editon ($79.99) such as a spider pet, armored war horse, gear customization options, emotes, and a Grey Bear for the new Warden class.

I'm really excited! Love ESO.
I wonder if this will be what'll get me to play the game again. I played it for like, 3 days before I got so bored. Haven't tried all the various re-vamps they've done, so I have no clue if the game has improved at all.
Dis me wielding that claymore. I can't wait to get it.
I really enjoy ESO. They have done a great job adjusting to player reaction and fixing it since release. The new content has all been very good as well. I'm looking forward to this.
This is welcome news for me. I played through most of ESO last year and very much enjoyed it. It managed to fill my craving for more Elder Scrolls when I was stuck without any other Elder Scrolls games available on PS4. I got Skyrim Special Edition and managed to play through its entirety already, so the fact that a sizable expansion is being added to ESO in the near future is fantastic news, especially considering how much I loved Morrowind.
Been meaning to get into this game and I think that collector's edition will be the reason.
I haven't really dabbled with ESO since launch. After being crowned the first Daggerfall Emperor of my campaign, and the fact that ZOS never fixed issues in Cyrodiil, everybody I knew left.
Morrowind just so happens to be my favorite TES game, so I might be motivated to try this out. ESO has always come across as a rather lifeless and generic TES game though. It just doesn't have the soul and awe that the main series games have.
Man, I want to play this game, but there's no way I'd ever beat something this expansive (and that continues to expand with further updates). I already have enough trouble even finishing the "regular" Elder Scrolls games with how large they are.
I just got hooked on ESO. It took 3 tries over course of two years I guess now. It's not easily accessible even tho I have 1k hours of Skyrim from the 360 era (with 1 character mind you)(another 150 with remaster), and 750 hours of Destiny's sorta-MMO in me, it is just too overwhelming. Luckily for me my brother has two level 480's so he walked me thru it. It's so glorious and gorgeous and my God it's gargantuan! :)
Damn, I may need to start playing this.
Hai Resdaynia.
Makes me wanna go back and play some real Morrowind. Love that game.
