The lights are on
Bandai Namco has announced the official release date of Tekken 7 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC – June 2.
In advance of the date, you can also check out the new trailer, which dips into the game's story involving Heihachi's wife.

You get Eliza if you pre-order (just in case someone doesn't watch the trailer).
Looking forward to this one.
So 2008, but with manly tears.
Hype has increased but is still not at maximum capacity. I don't even know if I still like Tekken.
I can't wait for this.
The story looks 10 times better than SFV's just from this trailer
With the game being released in June, I could see Namco releasing Tekken 4 and or 5 as a PS2 on PS4 or Tekken themed DLC for the new Tales of game or Dragonball Xenoverse 2 Tekken DLC to tide people over.
Good to know the release date is finally locked in, though for some reason I thought it was previously coming in March. Oh well, it'll be worth the wait. The only one I never really cared for was Tekken 4. All the others have been excellent. Tekken just might be my favorite fighting series ever.
The wait just got tougher, but hopefully it'll be worth it.
I wish I was good at fighting games because this looks delightfully stupid and awesome.
It's cool that we finally have a release date, and the new trailer is pretty cool, but I'm still waiting to see if they're bringing back some older characters (Jun, Michelle, Kunimitsu, etc.). And if they are brought back, I REALLY hope they aren't DLC or something stupid like that. Jun especially was pretty vital to the story, it would be an injustice for her to be DLC (and, of course, Michelle and the others reeeaaally shouldn't be DLC, either).
Looks last gen, somehow.
I'll wait for the steam to settle
