Conan O'Brien's Clueless Gamer Gets Its Own Series

by Kimberley Wallace on Jan 05, 2017 at 11:55 AM

We've all had a lot of fun watching Conan's Clueless Gamer segment where he plays the latest video games and makes fun of them. Sometimes he even brings on a celebrity or two for good measure. Turns out TBS has also taken notice of its fanfare and wants to expand it. Today in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter TBS revealed that a Clueless Gamer series is going into production next month.

"We've gotten to the point where video game companies are sending us their new product for us to play and make fun of because it's been such a huge success. We're going to go into production on a series of that," TBS president Kevin Reilly told The Hollywood Reporter.

This interview comes after rumors swirled about Conan shifting to a once a week format. Reilly says that's not the case, but some things will change and brought up the Clueless Gamer series as one new addition. "All of this is going to lead to more activity for him, not less. And how we balance that with whatever form the talk show takes is a point of discussion," he says.
