Overwatch Celebrates The Holidays By Gifting Players Five Free Winter Loot Boxes
Holiday events have become more and more common in games, and while Overwatch is currently in the midst of its Winter Wonderland event, Blizzard is wishing players a "Happy Holidays" in a way all players will appreciate.
Upon signing into Overwatch starting today, players are greeted with a message from the developers thanking them for being a part of the first-person shooter's massively successful year. Off to the side, a message informs players that they have been gifted five winter loot boxes. You can read the full message below.

Overwatch's current Winter Wonderland event is running until January 2. As part of this event, players can acquire exclusive skins, emotes, sprays, and victory poses for the characters in the game through the limited winter loot boxes. In addition, some stages have been given a wintery makeover, and players can take part in a snowball fight mode starring Mei.
