Blade Runner 2049 Looks As Visually Striking As The Original

by Jeff Marchiafava on Dec 19, 2016 at 10:49 AM

Warner Bros. has released a new trailer for the sequel to the premier neo-noir sci-fi film, and it delivers the same atmospheric intrigue.

Blade Runner 2049 is set 30 years after the first film, with Ryan Gosling stepping in as a new replicant hunter pulling at the strings of a conspiracy that, according to Warner Bros., "has the potential to plunge what's left of society into chaos." Thanks to the trailer we know that Gosling will encounter at least one character from the past, though we'll avoid naming names for the sake of spoilers (but seriously, why are your reading this if you're worried about that sort of thing?!).

Blade Runner 2049 will launch on October 6 of next year.
