[Update] Rogue One Makes $155 Million During Weekend Debut
Update (11/18/16 at 4:48 p.m.): As this weekend comes to a close, Rogue One makes $155 million in North America and $290 million worldwide.

The greatly anticipated new Star Wars movie, Rogue One, has had an incredibly successful debut since it opened in theaters on Friday. According to Deadline, the film made $71 million on opening day, and $46.25 million on Saturday.
From Thursday midnight showings alone, the movie hauled in $29 million. As we near the end of the weekend, Rogue One is expected to make around $155 million. Today's figures should be in by tonight, and we'll update this article once those numbers are in at the box office.
