First Batch Of Free Titanfall 2 DLC Drops November 30
Respawn made waves last August when it announced the popular Angel City map from the first game would return as a free DLC update. Today, the studio outlined the planned content drop.
Coming November 30, the Angel City's Most Wanted drop includes the aforementioned map, a wingman elite pistol, new Titan kits, a pilot execution phase shift, a stats screen, and an in-game stone. Respawn also outlined its plans for content drops moving forward, which include double XP weekends, "twists" on game modes, recognition for the most active player networks, and giveaways every Wednesday. Titanfall received a 9.5 score from GI editor Javy Gwaltney, who called it "the full package."
Our Take
The free content drops are nice, and should help offset one of the biggest problems with the original game – a slow trickle of post-release content and a shallow progression system.
