Strategy Game The Walking Dead: March To War Announced For Mobile

by Elise Favis on Oct 06, 2016 at 07:47 AM

Disruptor Beam, the mobile developer behind titles such as Star Trek Timelines and Game of Thrones Ascent, announced the new game The Walking Dead: March to War, which is based off Robert Kirkman's comics. The free-to-play mobile title is described as a story-driven multiplayer strategy game, where players will have to fight for survival with limited resources.

Taking place in post-apocalyptic Washington D.C., you fight off walkers and attempt to rebuild what's left of society. Each player takes on the role as a leader of a group of survivors, assembling their own teams, which includes a council featuring prominent characters from the series, such as Rick and Michonne. You'll be faced with difficult moral choices, as well as battle the undead to keep your camp safe.

The announcement came to light at this year's New York Comic-Con, which is currently in full swing. No firm release date is announced just yet, but March to War will be out next year on mobile devices.
